NAIP is a nonprofit organization strictly focused on benefiting the independent oil and gas industry in Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. NAIP is not affiliated with any association or industry that will diminish it’s allegiance to independent oil & gas producers.
Why is NAIP needed?
Vast exploration potential remains in the northern states, however, the opportunity cannot be taken for granted. The independent oil and gas industry must unite to address existing issues and continuously improve the business environment on all fronts.
What is NAIP’s focus?
NAIP’s focus is to represent the interests of independent oil and natural gas producers.
NAIP will follow an aggressive course of action supporting proactive legislation and fighting unreasonable, anti-industry legislation and regulations.
NAIP’s presence will be heard and felt at the state legislatures, regulatory agencies, and the U.S. Congress.
NAIP exists to support and defend the domestic independent oil and gas exploration and production industry.
Unique benefits of NAIP:
NAIP is strictly funded by and solely accountable to the independent E&P industry.
As a multi-state association, NAIP can:
- Unite as one voice all independent producers in the three states, creating a compelling lobby at the state and federal levels.
- Collectively improve regulatory, tax and other operating environment matters throughout the three states rather than through divided efforts in each state.
- Jointly address issues shared by the three states such as inferior infrastructure, product marketing alternatives and federal, forest and Indian land operations.
NAIP objectives:
TO ADVOCATE for the independent producer at the Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota Legislatures and State Regulatory Agencies, the U.S. Congress and dozens of other government bodies;
TO EDUCATE NAIP members on current rules and regulations, as well as the latest developments in exploration and production technology;
TO COMMUNICATE with the public, through close relationships with the media, the interests of the independent industry;
TO PROVIDE a forum for discussion and development of positions and policies to benefit the industry, the states and the nation.
